Restore E-Retreat

If you are an adult who experienced a major negative event which continues to affect your life, our Restore E-Retreat is designed for you. The event could be an old, childhood wound (such as neglect/abuse) or a more recent major loss or trauma.

In everyday life, there is often no safe place, protected time, or skilled guide to attend to the emotional and spiritual wounds of life. Restore E-Retreats are designed to provide these things. Take a break from daily responsibilities, join others who are traveling a similar journey, and find freedom from the painful losses in your life. Now is the time for healing so that you can honor what has happened to you and learn to live well in the present.

Spaces are limited. The retreat includes specialized trauma therapeutic techniques carefully selected for each aspect of your time with us. You will learn how to recover from major losses or tragedies, discover that you are not alone in your journey, and have the safety and time to explore and heal the details of your personal experiences. You will participate in teaching times, small group therapy sessions, experiential therapies and an individual session. You will be grouped with 4-5 people, carefully matched with you by type of trauma. We will wrap up with a celebration of your progress and help you to make plans to integrate the new you into your old life.

In the 2 months following the retreat, you will join your small group for 3 follow-up group therapy sessions to reinforce your progress as you apply your newly acquired freedoms into your life.

Don’t worry about the process. You will not be asked to share beyond your level of comfort, and you can also work privately as needed. Although this is a faith-based program, participants of any or no faith are welcome and respected.

This transformational opportunity is offered uniquely in this skilled, safe environment created just for you. Take a risk and a turn to care for yourself. You will never be the same.

The curriculum used for the Restore Retreat is based on “The Circle of Truth” teaching of Tova Kreps, LCSW (© 2009).

Testimonies:

“To be talked to like a human capable of change. To be reminded that it won’t last forever and at some point, there's even PTG (Post Traumatic Growth). So much of trauma is just learning to live with the hard. It moves my heart to know - there is a part where it made me better and will continue to do so.” – Anonymous

“God has really used this retreat to help me to trust the process and really face what has been going on and the best way to move forward.” – Anonymous

“At the restore retreat, I was introduced to other techniques such as using art or EMDR that allowed the trauma that I was even unaware of to emerge and receive healing. The therapists were absolutely professional and they provided me with the space I needed to absorb all that I was experiencing. I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone who has experienced negative life events.” – Anonymous

“The retreat really opened the eyes of my heart and mind to work on the hard areas of my life. I believe the combination of teaching, small groups, art therapy music, prayer and individual sessions really brought everything in focus.  The teaching of the Circle of Truth is a tool I can learn to use throughout the days ahead in my life, very insightful!  I would definitely be a promotor of Wellspring and recommend it to those who are going through a tough time in their lives.” – Anonymous
